Time to give some nice props to one of my favorite sites - Yelp. Yelp is a user generated content / social network site centered around the idea that people connect around food. Think Friendster (if you're over 27) or MySpace (if you're under 27), but instead of talking about hobbies, who you'd like to meet, or lame things that really amount to please internet help me find a significant other - Yelp is centered around FOOD. Yep, that's right I said FOOD. Basically the premise is like other social networking sites you join and then ask your friends to join (so you don't look like an online loser with no friends), but it doesn't stop there. See Yelp allows you to rate restaurants, search for restaurant ratings, and share them with your friends. Its an absolute must for true foodies.
